Frequently asked questions:

What kind of services do you offer?

  • Please see our services page for our list of services and descriptions.
  • We have experience giving cats and dogs oral medication, topical medication, insulin injections, subcutaneous fluids, and asthma inhalers. Depending on the extent of medical needs, extra charges may apply if extra time is needed to safely ensure proper medication administration.

What services don't you offer?

  • We currently do not offer boarding or doggy daycare, but we hope to in the future.
  • We do not offer every other day pet sitting services. When you are away there must be at least one daily visit to ensure the safety of your pet and your home.
  • We require that your pets be current with their vaccinations. (If your pet can not have a vaccination due to a medical condition we will try to accommodate with a note from the veterinarian.)
  • We can not provide services to aggressive, dangerous, or illegal pets.

What is your service area?

  • We currently service within a 15 miles radius of central Maple Grove. Inquire to see if you are in our service area or if accommodations can be arranged.

What is the process of becoming a client?

  • Normally, we like to start with a meet and greet appointment. This appointment is 100% free and allows us to get to know both you and your pets. We are able to go over your normal routine, your needs, wants, and any questions you may have. This will allow both you and us to decide if we are a good fit for your pets needs. If the booking for your appointment moves forward we will then go over the final details and arrangements.

What kind of animals do you care for?

  • We have experience with and can currently care for cats, dogs, birds, fish, rabbits, ferrets, reptiles, amphibians, small mammals (such as hamsters, mice, rats, gerbils, etc..), and chickens/ducks.

Are there any animals you do not care for?

  • We do not provide care for pets that are aggressive or animals that are not legal to own in the state of Minnesota.
  • We do not currently care for farm animals, other than chickens or ducks.

What is your payment policy?

  • Payment must be received prior to services provided. If payment is not received services will not be provided.
  • We accept cash, checks, Venmo, or Zelle. We also are able to accept credit and debit cards through our client portal.
  • We do not accept post-dated checks. Checks must be fully cleared before services will be provided.

What is you cancellation policy?

  • We give refunds or account credits for cancellations made with 48hrs notice from appointment time.
  • Cancellations made with less than 48hrs notice from appointment time will receive account credits for future appointments.
  • If your appointment is cancelled due to an unforeseen event (inclement weather or canceled by care giver ) you will have the option of a refund or credit to account.
  • We do not give credits or refunds for cancelled pet sitting reservations that include a major holiday (unless due to inclement weather or canceled by care giver).

Do you charge extra on holidays? If so, how much and on what holidays?

  • A holiday charge of $20/visit applies to the following holidays:
  • New Year's Eve Day
  • New Year's Day
  • Easter Sunday
  • Memorial Day
  • 4th of July Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • The day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve Day
  • Christmas Day

What is your severe weather policy?

  • We do not walk dogs in dangerous conditions such as winter storms, tornado watch or warnings, thunderstorms with lightening, unhealthy air quality warnings, or when there are heat and cold advisories. When weather conditions could be a potential threat to pets or us humans, we will take dogs outside for a short potty break and then provide free-time filled with love and fun in the safety of your home.
  • Just think... if it's not safe for me to be outside, it's not safe for them to be either.
